Question
What is the weighting of the sets?

Answer
The weighting varies - but all the luxury chess sets are triple weighting with the exception
of some of the specialist sets like the camel bone - (which are nicely weghted but full
weighting would affect the authenticity of the pieces). There is actually little actual classifications
of weighting for chess - it's more of an accepted measurement. Some stores wishing to make a little
more profit claim that their chess sets are triple weighted when they quite obviously are not.
But which customers would really know for sure? At ChessBaron we follow the accepted
weighting metrics and classify the chess sets as standard, double or triple weighted. Of course,
when it comes to the brass chess set for example, the weighting is very heavy and much more than
the wooden triple weights. It is similar with the pewter chess set.
