as a special gift for someone else a monogram is an inexpensive way to turn your luxury chess set
into a unique luxury chess set.
When choosing a board to go with your chess pieces simply select one of the monogram options (up to 3 letters or
4-12 letters) from the drop-down list, and then at checkout you will be able to choose your personalized
letters, typestyle and color.
The most common way to monogram an item is with a single letter, usually the first initial of the last name.
A single monogrammed letter is classic, simple and elegant. Many people also prefer to have their first, middle and last initials monogrammed as well.
For three letter monograms, the order of the letters is based on preference but the two most common orderings are to have either the first,
middle and last- or the first, last and middle initials.
There are no set rules to monogramming and in the end, it comes down to making a choice that matches the personality.
