The Kings finial is reminiscent of the pyramidal roof structures of the ancient temples of long ago. The queen is slender yet wears her crown well. The bishop has an open miter and the rook stands at the ready! But its the knight that grabs your attention. This is a horse ready for battle and each piece has a unique tilt to his ear. Double queens are included and felt bottoms keep your chess board protected. Double Queens too.
